The neighborhood that I live in is starting a community garden. This is the first year which I'm sure will be quit a learning experience. So far the garden has gotten a grant and there is money for the plants a sign and probably some benches. But as usual the people may be the problem. It appears there have been individuals that believe that they should have their own spot in the garden that belongs only to them. I could be wrong but I am pretty sure that this defeats the purpose of just about anything with "community" in the title.

Why is there always someone out there that believes they deserve more then everyone else?

P.S. A garden usually has an abundance of veggies. I really don't think that anyone will be going with out any at harvest time. What's the issue with sharing?
